WALLPAPER WEDNESDAYS
Every Wednesday during the NFL season, the Minnesota Vikings feature a series a Instagram wallpapers that fans are allowed to screenshot and make as their iPhone wallpaper for their Lock Screen or Home Screen. These are the graphics we are allowed to stretch our creative muscles and really design outside the box if desired. I like to go in between keeping the wallpapers in our brand and expanding my horizons. Below are a few of the favorites that I have created.
Valentine’s Day
I created some punny Valentine’s Day graphics that our fans could send to their valentine!

This was a Vikings Kids Club exclusive event where kids got to meet some of the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders and Vikings’ Safety Cam Bynum, as well as play some games. I designed the Halloween pattern and signage.
State fair skol horns
Every year at the Minnesota State Fair, the Minnesota Vikings has a booth for fair-goers to explore. Inside is merchandise, photo opportunities with the infamous Gjallarhorn, and free SKOL horn hats. For the 2021 State Fair, I got to design the SKOL horns and over 5,000 were handed out and worn throughout the week.
GAME DAY YOUTH COLORING PAGES
Because of my previous experience with the Twins with creating coloring and activity sheets for the Twins, the Vikings assigned me the project of illustrating a series of children’s coloring pages for each of the home games of the season. These were distributed to Vikings Kids Club, their youth Facebook group, and their youth activities webpage. A few highlight imagery unique to the matchup based on team, date of game (ex. Halloween, Primetime Purple), or the season!
BONUS: Pumpkin carving!
For our game against the Dallas Cowboys on Halloween Night, the design team spent the day carving some pumpkins for video, social, and Viktor the Viking content. We ended the evening with a photo and video shoot! I carved the “DAL” and “SKOL” pumpkins.
