WALLPAPER WEDNESDAYS

During the MLB season, the Minnesota Twins feature a series a Instagram wallpapers on Wednesdays that fans are able to screenshot and make as their iPhone wallpaper for their lock or home screen. The Twins liked to switch it up on Wednesdays between edited photos of the players and graphics like these below.

bomba squad bobblebox

The Minnesota Twins created the term “bomba” which is synonymous to “home runs.” 2019 was definitely the year of the bombas for the Twins - they were the first team in MLB history to have eight players with 20 or more bombas in a season, as well as the first team in MLB history to have FIVE players with 30 or more bombas in a single season. They ended the 2019 season with an MLB home run record of 307 runs. The Twins couldn’t turn down the opportunity to use this to make the first ever five-person bobblehead in the MLB - and I designed the box!

Instagram posts

A majority of the Twins’ Instagram posts are primarily action shots of the players or score graphics, but the part I got to play in their Instagram feed was designing their holiday posts, birthdays, and the occasional news everyone wanted to hear amidst the pandemic (professional sports is back, finally!).

Kids activity pages

Once baseball was postponed for an unknown time due to the pandemic, the Twins had to figure out ways to keep the fans, especially children who could no longer attend baseball games or participate in Kids Club activities, to stay interested and involved! Every Tuesday, a new activity page would be released, whether it was a word challenge, word search, coloring page, math challenge, etc. I created them all!

AL wildcard publication

In 2020, the Twins clinched the AL Division Championship. Next came the wildcard games! The design team put together a short publication of what the wildcard game again the Twins would entail, and I designed the table of contents.

Minnesota Twins community fund

The Minnesota Twins Community Fund is a non-profit organization founded following the 1991 World Series to lead the ballclub’s charitable efforts. Their mission is to enrich local and regional communities by providing resources for the healthy development of children and families through an association with baseball, softball, and the Minnesota Twins. I created this infographic summarizing all the great things the organization achieved over the course of 2019.

Outfield banner

In wake of 2020’s social justice for George Floyd, this is an outfield banner, designed for the memory of those who have also died from police brutality.
